Electrophysiology catheters and connection cables

XTREM’s electrophysiology catheters are restricted to be used in the evaluation and diagnosis of cardiac rythmology problems. They can also be used for short stimulation in order to realize signal collection at controlled moments, which allows to highlight the cardiac arrhythmias.

XTREM electrophysiology catheters

A wide range of products (Premier, Classic, and Dynamic) is offered to allow a choice adapted to the area to be explored:

Premier

The Premier catheters are starting range products.
Diameter: 5F or 6F
Usable length: 105 cm
Polarity: Bipolar or quadripolar
Electrode spacing (mm): 05 or 10
Packaging: box of 5 units packaged individually.

Classic

The Classic catheters are more sophisticated fixed-curved products. They have a labelled wheel which allows an easier identification of catheters position once they have been implanted.
Diameter: 5F or 6F
Usable length: 120 or 65 cm
Polarity: Bipolar, quadripolar, hexapolar, octopolar or decapolar
Electrode spacing (mm): 05, 10, 2-5-2
Packaging: 1 unit

Dynamic

The Dynamic range has a variable distal curve. The Dynamic handle adjuster wheel drives variation of the distal curve, to give the catheter the same shape as the registration area.
Diameter: 5F or 6F
Usable length: 120 cm or 65 cm
Polarity: Bipolar, quadripolar, hexapolar, octopolar or decapolar
Electrode spacing (mm): 05, 10, 2-5-2, 2-8-2, 2-10-5-5-5, 2-7-5-5-5
Packaging: 1 unit
Single-use devices provided sterile

Connecting the catheters to the recording/stimulating device requires the use of a suitable cable. Use preferably reusable or single-use XTREM cables (range 2040).

  • 4-contact cable: for bipolar and quadripolar catheters
  • 6-contact cable: for hexapolar cable
  • 10-contact cable: for octopolar and decapolar cable

Standard length: 150cm

Device provided sterile. Reusable cables are packaged individually and can be sterilized 10 times. Single-use cables are sold in box of 10 units (packaged individually).
